Tuna is a legend in North America, having gained fame due to having an exceptionally strong effect regardless of its fairly low THC content of 17.5% relative to, say, Peanut Butter Breath or other notoriously strong strains which can have THC content up to and beyond 25%. Tuna is such a potent strain that many regular stoners take it as their strain of choice, even in the face of higher THC strains. The flavour and smell of Tuna is lemony and fresh, with some skunky tones lurking around. When smoked Tuna yields a harsh smoke that is certain to get you coughing, but which is paid off in troves by the exceptional high that will follow.
The high you will experience with Tuna starts out with a crash wave of relaxation over your whole body which rapidly transcends to lethargic euphoria. Even the heaviest of heavy weights will find themselves glued to their seat due to the exceptionally unique terpene profile. Although sedating, many users report being left with enough energy to exchange in the ongoing chatter of friends while you all stare distantly into the beyond.
Tuna is an Indica hybrid (70% Indica / 30% Sativa) that grows spindly, but produces long, full, lime green buds with a liberal coating of thrichomes on the surface. Buds grow light and airy, meaning high volume with lower weights, and busts into easy to roll and uniform hash with little stems.
Not the first choice for many patients due to it’s appearance of having a low potency, Tuna is actually very effective at relieving body pain and anxiety for most users with a lower does than most other crops. Great for night-time use, video game or Netflix sessions, or simply for heading off to bed. Tuna is also great for improving appetite, but is not reccomended for daytime use as the potent effects may leave you less functional that desired.
